Abstracts for papers, poster presentations, and panel sessions should be submitted by October 1, 2018. Papers and presentations are invited from all areas of computer science from both academicians and practitioners. Proposals for workshops and poster presentations are also welcomed.
Abstracts should be no more than 400 words in length and should include a description of research design and/or the data, key findings, and implications for the theoretical debate or practice of the discipline. The abstract should also indicate the relevance of the presentation to one of the 6 conference strands and explicitly outline 3-4 intended conclusions for the audience. In addition to the abstract, applicants are required to submit a short biography.
For a colloquium or panel discussion, the organizers should submit a single abstract on behalf of the group, devoting 200 words to the overall theme and intended outcomes and 100 words to each paper or panelist included. Titles of presentations should be no more than 15 words. Each panel should list the following components: panel title, panel abstract (200 words) chair, discussant, presentation titles with short summary of the main findings (100 words each).
