Data Enabled Applications 2017

DEAs 2017

Data Mining & Analysis Databases & Information Systems

General methods/techniques of data science have been provided for various data-driven industries, organizations and as well as governments. They may need to solve a discipline-specific problem with enormous amount of complex data coming from different domains yet escalating periodically. Usually, the available general solutions cannot fully resolve the problem facing the challenges of various data formats, data integration, etc. This raises a need to look into Data Enabled Applications (DEAs) that are created and designed specifically for discipline-specific problems.
In this special session, we are looking for new methodologies and best practices to integrate or improve the general methods/techniques to enable purposeful DEAs for specific problems.
The DEAs include but are not limited to:
- Health Informatics
- Transportation & Automation
- Human Resource
- Business
- Finance
- Marketing
- Agriculture
This special session provides a platform for exchanging ideas of DEAs and invites researchers from universities as well as experts from various industries to contribute advances to the research community.
