Session description
This special session deals with the problem of production scheduling in the context of Industry 4.0 and the IoT.
The goal is to invite researchers to provide innovative production scheduling approaches in an IoT or ubiquitous environment. Indeed, scheduling of smart factories is different from that of traditional ones. We need new flexible, robust, real time scheduling and rescheduling approaches that take profit from the data generated from sensors and connected things.
The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• Dynamic scheduling
• Flexible scheduling
• Real time scheduling
• Rescheduling
• Agent based scheduling
• Robust scheduling
• Ubiquitous manufacturing
