An intimate international and multi-disciplinary meeting exploring the how, why and original purposes of built monuments: megalithic structures, mounds, kivas, cairns, marae, etc.
The OTS Foundation welcomes contributions from curators, managers and practitioners representing different cultural and technical perspectives. Abstracts should present any indigenous culture and its monument-making. 250-300 word abstracts of papers, presentations and posters should be submitted in English, in either Text, Word or PDF formats. Email to: symposium@OTSF.org. Deadline: 30 April 2018. Fast turnaround. While availability lasts, OTSF is providing two nights accommodation in Malta for presenting authors of accepted papers. No registration fee.
THE OTS FOUNDATION, a United States of America not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational foundation since 1994, is dedicated to research and public outreach about ancient humankind and the development of monumental architecture. With offices in Florida and Valletta, OTSF is the contracted provider in Malta for the Road Scholar program of Adventures in Lifelong Learning, and supports innovative conferences like this one.
