KDCloudApps 2017

Databases & Information Systems

The objective of KDCloudApps-2017 is to provide a forum to exchange and discuss recent advances, results, experiences and lessons learned from the development of applications that apply tools, techniques, methods, and models supported by Knowledge Discovery (KD) and Cloud Computing (CC) technologies. Additionally, KDCloudApps also provides a forum to discuss how KD and CC technologies interact in order to provide more scalable and flexible intelligent information systems. KDCloudApps-2017 cordially invite researchers, graduate students, professionals and entrepreneurs to participate submitting research papers related with one or more of the themes proposed for the Workshop: Advances in cloud computing applications, Cloud computing and the Semantic Web, Cloud resource allocation, Cloud resource monitoring, Datamining applications on the Cloud, Geographic knowledge extraction, Context-oriented Information Integration, Context-oriented Information Retrieval, Databases and information retrieval applications, Human-Computer semantic interaction, Linked data management, Linked open data, Natural language processing applications, Ontology-based information systems, Ontological engineering, Ontology learning applications, Pervasive systems, Search and query Methods for Semantic Web applications, KD and CC applications for climate change, KD and CC applications for smart cities, KD and CC for big data challenges, Semantic Content Personalization and Adaptation, Semantic integration of data, multimedia and services, Semantic Web Services, Semantic Web user interfaces, Sentiment analysis, Service-oriented applications, Social collaboration platforms and semantic web, Social web applications, Ubiquitous and mobile information systems, Vehicular tracking networks. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support. All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library. SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef (http://www.crossref.org/) and every paper on this digital library is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier). It is planned to publish a short list of revised and extended versions of presented papers with Springer in a CCIS Series book, http://www.dataconference.org/BooksPublished.aspx, (final ap-proval pending). The proceedings will be submitted to Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Index) and Scopus for indexation.
