The 34th Annual CCSC Eastern Conference will be held at Marymount university in Arlington, VA in the heart of the Washington DC metro area. Marymount University is home to over 3,300 students, representing approximately 40 states and 70 countries. The IT and Cyber Security program has over 300+ students. The department is housed in the brand new Ballston Center, Washington DC’s cyber security corridor.
The 2018 CCSC Eastern Conference is designed to promote the exchange of information among educators at all levels of the computing sciences, including 4-year and 2-year colleges as well as sessions of interest to K-12 educators. The conference spans all computing disciplines, including computer science, computational science, information systems, information technology, and beyond; and provides an affordable regional forum for the exchange of ideas and information concerning computing and computing curricula in smaller academic institutions. The CCSC Eastern Conference welcomes scholarly papers, posters, workshops, tutorials, and panels on the content, structure, delivery, support, and application of all areas of computing education. There will be workshops, invited speakers, tutorials, panels, student competitions, and sessions for papers and posters.
