2018 IEEE Global Conference on Internet of Things (2018 IEEE GCIoT) that will be held on 5-7 December 2018 in Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Alexandria - Egypt. The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE IoT Initiative and IEEE Alexandria University.
2018 IEEE GCIoT aims to provide a forum for researchers from both academic and industry fields to share their latest research contributions and exchange knowledge with the common goal of shaping the future of IoT and smart sustainable cities. Contributed papers are solicited describing original works in these fields and related technologies.
The conference program will include paper presentations, poster sessions and project demonstrations, along with prominent keynote speakers and industrial workshops. There will be three tracks in the conference: technical track, governmental track, and industrial track.

For the governmental track, the topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

• IoT and Future Internet Architectures
• IoT Standardization and Regulation
• Privacy, Identification and Authentication Issues
Additionally, we seek proposals for a Panel/Invited Session or a Tutorial of general interest and relevance to IoT. These should address the Technical Community and/or provide educational or expository material, or recognition of significant contributions to the advancement of IoT technologies. IEEE GCIoT Paper Categories
• For Technical Track :
Regular Paper – 5 pages maximum (2 additional pages allowed but at an extra charge), 10 pt font double column in IEEE format. Authors must present novel perspectives within the general scope of the conference.
• For Industrial and Governmental Tracks :
Extended abstract – 2 pages maximum, 10 pt font double column in IEEE format
All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings and IEEE Xplore. All papers must include title, complete contact information for all authors, abstract, and keywords on the cover page.
