Data Mining & Analysis Databases & Information Systems

We invite both best practice- and use case-oriented talks and roundtable discussion topics in all areas of Data Science. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
– Data product design, data-centric business models
– Artificial Intelligence and its applications in Industry
– Applications of machine learning, information retrieval, data warehousing, and analytics
– Cyber security in relation to data science
– Demonstration and evaluation of tools and technologies for big (and small) data
– Visualization and communication of results
– Ethics, privacy and law in relation to Data Science
– Best practices in Data Science and lessons learned

Submission Types
Talk Proposals: Submissions should have a maximum length of two pages and contain all of the following elements: an abstract, a description of the target audience, an outline of the intended talk and a short biography.
Roundtable Discussion Topic Proposals: Submissions should have a maximum length of one page and contain all of the following elements: an abstract, a description of the open questions or pointers to the controversy of the topic and a short biography.
The Program Committee will carefully review the submissions.
