International Conference on Intelligent Environments - IE '18 - Posters and Short Papers

Posters and Short Papers @ IE 2018

Civil Engineering Urban Studies & Planning

The posters and short papers track provides an ideal opportunity for conference attendees to learn about new and innovative work-in-progress, and to preview on-going research projects that might not yet be complete, but whose preliminary results are already interesting.
Authors are invited to submit poster papers on the IE18 topics of interest listed in the conference home page. Short papers will be reviewed based on originality, significance, quality, and clarity. Short papers can include "Position Papers" and report on "Work in Progress". Accepted short papers will be presented through posters which will be displayed in a dedicated poster area.
All accepted short papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings.
*Submission Guidelines*
A short paper with a maximum length of four (4) pages that explains the idea presented. Since the format is short, special attention should be given to ensure that major contributions, i.e., significance and originality, be emphasized succinctly. As papers of accepted posters will be included in the IEEE Conference Proceedings, all submitted papers must comply with the IE18 publisher formatting guidelines. At this stage, no draft version of the poster should be submitted with the short paper.
Only if the paper gets accepted, the authors will be asked to make and bring along a poster that will be displayed during the conference. We will provide panels of 1.8 meters wide and 2-meter height. Please feel free to use the size you decide for your poster.
