Computer Graphics Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition

Nowadays, systems powered by artificial intelligence have gained much attention. They can see, extract meaningful features or patterns, learn the structure of data, derive new information and identify strategies and behaviours to react on their analysis results. On top of those, the rapidly growing network connections enable these systems to work not only efficiently but also smartly. They can communicate with each other and automatically collect or transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. How these systems can precisely analyse such enormous data is always a challenging task.
Therefore, this Special Issue of Industrial Networks and Intelligent Systems calls for original, high-quality papers on various aspects of computer vision and data science including theoretical modelling, performance analysis, algorithm development and practical implementation. This may also include outline of essential challenges, proof-of-concept studies along with performance evaluations and comparative analyses among existing solutions/approaches.
