Manuscript Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts should be written in English. Whenever applicable, submissions should include the following elements: title, authors, affiliations, contacts, abstract, index terms, main text, acknowledgment, and references. Submitted manuscripts should be formatted into A4-size, double-spaced, single-column pages, with main text of 12-point type. Regular research paper submissions should ideally not exceed 30 double-spaced pages in length, including tables and figures. This length corresponds roughly to 7 pages in print (single-spaced, two-column format).

Prospective authors should submit their full-text manuscript for publication consideration in a single PDF or Microsoft Word file via email to the journal secretary at jec@rev.org.vn. Other file formats will not be accepted.

Review Process

All manuscripts will be subject to a fair, unbiased, double-blinded peer-review process, and are considered on the basis of their significance, novelty and usefulness to the REV-JEC readership. The review output will be one of the following decisions:
1. Accept
2. Accept with minor changes
3. Accept with mandatory changes
4. Rewrite and resubmit
5. Reject

The review process may take approximately three months to be completed. Should authors be requested by the Editor to revise the manuscript, the revised version should be submitted within three months for a major revision or one month for a minor revision. Authors who need more time are kindly requested to contact the Editor. The Editor reserves the right to reject a paper if it does not meet the aims and scope of the journal, it is not technically sound, it is not revised satisfactorily, or if it is inadequate in presentation.

Revised and Final Version Submission

Submission of a revised manuscript should follow the same guidelines as for manuscript submissions, plus that the submission must include a short summary about the modifications the author(s) has made and author(s)'s response to reviewer(s)'s comments.

Upon formal acceptance of a manuscript for publication, instructions for providing the final materials required for publication will be sent to the Corresponding Author. Final version of a paper accepted for publication should be prepared in LaTeX or Microsoft Word, and is required to use the IEEE Transactions style files, which are available at http://www.ieee.org/portal/pages/pubs/transactions/stylesheets.html.

Copyright

An author's submission implies that the manuscript has not been published previously, and is not currently submitted for publication elsewhere. Submission also implies that the corresponding author has consent of all authors. Upon acceptance for publication transfer of copyright will be made to the Publisher of REV-JEC, and article submission implies author agreement with this policy.
