The INFORMATIK is the official annual conference of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI), the largest computer science association in the German-speaking world, and is held annually in changing places and with changing focus topics. In 2017, the INFORMATIK 2017 will take place under the guiding topic "Digital Cultures" in the main lecture building of Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany.
A variety of workshops, tutorials and symposia with individual CfPs is offered.

Die INFORMATIK ist die offizielle Jahrestagung der Gesellschaft für Informatik GI e.V., der größten Informatik-Vereinigung im deutschsprachigen Raum, und wird jährlich an wechselnden Orten und mit wechselnden Schwerpunktthemen veranstaltet. Im Jahr 2017 findet die INFORMATIK 2017 unter dem Leitthema "Digitale Kulturen" im Neuen Hörsaalgebäude der Technischen Universität Chemnitz in Deutschland statt.
