Artificial intelligence, software technologies, multimedia systems and IT security are established fields of computer science of both theoretical and practical significance. The aim of ACS 2018 Multi-Conference is to bring artificial intelligence, software technologies, biometrics, IT security and open and distance learning researchers in contact with the ACS community, and to give ACS attendees an opportunity to exchange some significant knowledge according to this areas of interest. Industrial and systems presentations bearing new ideas and solution paradigms are welcome as well.
The topics of interest of the conference sections include, but are not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence (neural network, fuzzy logic, evolutionary algorithms, rough sets, intelligent agent systems, data mining and knowledge extraction, artificial thinking, probabilistic methods in artificial intelligence)
- Software Technologies (software development and maintenance, software architectures, software quality, critical systems, mainstream and emerging applications, parallel and distributed application technologies, novel software technologies)
- Information Technology Security (access control, identification, authentication and digital signatures, risk evaluation and management, security and cryptographic protocols, applied cryptography, trust models and trust management, network and operating systems security, legal issues, computer crime and information warfare)
- Multimedia Systems (computer games, virtual and augmented worlds, modelling of multimedia systems, computer graphics, digital imaging, computer vision, image and video processing)
- Design of Information Systems (simulation for decision making, business process modelling, computer integrated manufacturing, decision support systems development, systems for ecommerce and e-business, marketing information systems, social networks and information systems, diffusion of information)
We would like to inform prospective attendees of ACS 2018 that all papers accepted and presented in ACS 2018 will be invited for further revisions and publication in Springer's “Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing” (AISC) series (http://www.springer.com/series/11156). The books of this series are submitted to ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, DBLP, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink and indexed in Web of Science.
