Computer Society of Iran (CSI 2017)
You are cordially invited to contribute to the Computer Society of Iran (CSI 2017) which is organized by Shiraz University and Computer Society of Iran to be held on October 25-27, 2017 in Shiraz (IRAN). The conference is a forum of excellence for the exploration of the frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Signal Processing.
The prestigious conference will be held in Shiraz, a city of magnificent diversity. The city of Persian poetry and civilization, and home to many touristic sites including the tomb of Hafez, a well-known Persian poet from the 14th century, and Saadi, another celebrated poet of the 13th century. Persepolis (Takht-e-Jamshid), the capital of the Achaemenid Empire and one of the world’s most magnificent ancient sites, which was declared a world heritage site in 1979 by UNESCO, is only 60 km away. On the other hand, Shiraz University is among the top-ranked universities in Iran and its computer science department is the first computer science department established in Iran.
We invite scholars, professionals, researchers, and students to participate in CSSE 2017 by
submitting their papers on topics related to Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing and Algorithms and emerging application. Prospective authors may refer to our website ( www.shirazu.ac.ir/csi2017 ) or telegram channel (@ CSI_2017 ) for detailed information and instructions on manuscript preparation and submission.
After the Conference, a selected number of best papers shall be expanded and revised for publishing in The Iranian Journal of Science & Technology (IJST) (ISSN: 1028-6284), which is indexed by ISI.
Professional Track:
We also solicit experiment reports from the professional community. The wide gap between professional and scientific communities of Computer Engineering and the reasons theoretical principles are not applied in Iran are the main theme of the newly defined track. In this category, engineers and developers are encouraged to submit their success or failure experiences. These papers are solely reviewed based on the practical and applied knowledge they may provide for the professional community and how they may shorten the gap between the two communities of professionals and scientists.
