Presents
Special Session on Wargaming at Software Engineering for Defence Applications — SEDA 2018
Since prehistory, games have been used training tools for defence applications. Today, they have gone beyond their roots as training tools for warriors and have expanded into the entertainment domain and develop gross sales larger than Hollywood movies. As the domain of games expands, we should examine the roots of their development. The committee welcomes submissions on all aspects of wargaming in the civilian and military domains, with special emphasis on:
• History of Wargaming
• Improvements in digital and analog Wargames
• Applications in civilian business
• Red Teaming training methods
• Game playing agents and AI for Wargames
• Serious games for logistics, deployment, and planning
• Case studies and lessons learned in application of games
Questions about the session can be addressed to Dr. Joseph Brown at j.brown@innopolis.ru
