Artificial Intelligence (AI) World Cup 2018 is the first world-wide competition of on-line soccer teams simulated by AI, held every year. AI World Cup provides an ambitious and technologically versatile platform to prove AI excellence of participants, and is open to a number of international teams. AI World Cup aims to inspire the future of AI technology through innovative solutions and technological competence.
AI World Cup 2018 will take place on August 20-22th, 2018 at KAIST Campus, Korea.

**AI World Cup 2018 consists of three challenges**
1. AI Soccer has each team’s five players, controlled by AI, move around the field to put the ball in the opponent team’s goal.
2. AI commentators present analyses of game plans solely based on the soccer game displayed on a computer monitor. The suitability of such an analysis is measured by comparing it with the soccer teams’ game plans for that game.
3. AI reporters write game summary reports, pointing out the key factors that have affected the outcome of a game. Any participants to prove excellence in their AI technology are welcomed with open arms.
**Winner Awards**
Final winner of AI Soccer will be awarded with US$10,000 cash prize and certificate. AI commentators be with US$5,000 cash prize and certificate, AI reporters be with US$5,000 cash prize and certificate.
Registration
AI World Cup 2018 is open to the public. The program includes tutorial sessions, keynote talks, panel discussion, poster session, and main round games. Anyone who attends the event is required to register as a participant or a spectator.
