SERVICES 2018 has obtained approval from the following journals to organize special issues based on extended versions of SERVICES papers:
- Special Issues in Services Transactions on Internet of Things (STIOT),
- Special Issues in Services Transactions on Services Computing (STSC),
- Special Issues in Services Transactions on Big Data (STBD),
- Special Issues in Services Transactions on Cloud Computing (STCC),
- Special Issue in International Journal of Web Services Research (JWSR)(Indexed by SCI & EI),
- Special Issue in International Journal of Business Process Integration and Management (IJBPIM).
Services 2018 Track 1: Virtual Track, Call for Papers:
Services 2018 continues the Services Virtual Track; the track accepts high quality research, applications and short papers that relate to SERVICES 2018 scope and its co- located events, CLOUD 2018, ICWS 2018, SCC 2018, BigData Congress 2018, AIMS, ICCC, ICIOT, EDGE 2018 and Services 2018 Special themes(see below).
The track is pragmatic gesture for our commitment to excellence, diversity and inclusiveness in support for services researchers and practitioners who have issues related to funding, travel and mobility, social, maternity/paternity, health, work, visa and other restrictions, which can hinder physical attendance and their contribution to the conference. Another objective of the track is to attract a bigger slice of practitioners and researchers from key services industries, software houses, governments through invited roadmaps, positions, demonstrations and virtual presentations etc. The track hopes to widen the scope for multidisciplinary dialogue, views and positions through invited virtual talks that can contribute to the repository of Services knowledge and improve our understanding to open issues in Services Computing.
Authors of the Virtual Tack are invited to submit full papers (about 8 pages) or short papers (about 4 pages) as per SCF 8.5 x 11 manuscript guidelines. All papers should be in PDF and submitted via at the submission system. Papers will be reviewed by three program committee members and will be selected depending on their originality, quality and relevance to the conference. Each accepted paper will have to be presented virtually; acceptance will be pending on preparing high quality and accessible electronic presentation that will be reviewed by the committee before confirming acceptance. Authors of accepted papers are strongly encouraged to use animation and effective techniques for virtual presentations. Accepted papers will be included in the Proceedings of the 2018 World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2018). One of the authors needs to register to the conference (Discounted Virtual rate applies – 50% of the standard registration rate). We aim to arrange for a special thematic journal issue, featuring the best papers presented in the track.

Services 2018 Track 2: Industry-specific Services Track, Call for Papers
SERVICES 2018 hope to attract researchers, practitioners, and industry business leaders in all the following services sectors to help define and shape the modernization strategy and directions of the services industry. You are invited to submit research, engineering, experience reports, case studies, empirical, evaluation and business innovation papers on the following business services sectors. Papers that relate to the software engineering foundations and applications are particularly encouraged, with a focus on novel approaches for engineering requirements, design and architectures, testing, maintenance and evolution, model-driven development, software processes, metrics, quality assurance and new software economics models, search-based software engineering, benefiting day-to-day services sectors and derived through experiences, with appreciation to scale, pragmatism, transparency, compliance and/or dependability.

Paper Submission and Review Process
Please use the submission page to find the right events and requirements to submit your papers. All submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 program committee members. Please note that the same paper should NOT be submitted to other conferences or events simultaneously. Such duplicate submissions will be rejected from all conferences without review. Accepted and presented papers will appear in the online version of the proceedings of the 2018 14th World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2018).
Paper Review Policy
SERVICES 2018's policy and professional ethics requires that referees treat the contents of papers under review as privileged information not to be disclosed to others before publication. It is expected that no one with access to a paper under review will make any inappropriate use of the special knowledge, which that access provides. Contents of abstracts submitted to conference program committees should be regarded as privileged as well, and handled in the same manner.
Services 2018 Co-located Events
SERVICES 2018 also presents keynote sessions, panel discussions, plenary poster sessions, innovation show cases, job fair, Services University (Summer School), "CLOUD Cup" contest, Cloud industry summit, workshops, and Ph.D. symposiums. Papers published in plenary poster sessions, "CLOUD Cup" contest, Global Cloud Industry Summit, Workshops, and Ph.D. symposiums will be included in the Proceedings of 2018 World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2018). The conference solicits workshop and emerging technologies track as part of SERVICES; proposals are accepted on rolling basis with a firm deadline of 15/02/2018. 1. Panels:
You are welcome to propose a panel. Electronic submission of 1-page proposal (in PDF or Word formats) is required. Submissions should include panel title, abstract, name of panel coordinator and panelists, their affiliations, emails addresses, and postal addresses. Use the link above to go to panel web page.
2. Tutorials:
You are welcome to propose a tutorial. Submitted tutorial proposal will be limited to 1 page and required to be in a single column. Electronic submission of proposals (in PDF or Word formats) is required. 3. Emerging Technology Track (ETT):
You are welcome to submit ETT proposals related to cloud computing, web services, mobile services, and big data. ETT duration can be one day or one and half day. All the accepted and presented papers by the ETTs will be included in the Proceedings of 2018 12th World Congress on Services (SERVICES 2018) which will be published by SCF. 4. Services University (SU) Summer School:
SU-2018 is now calling for participation. Eligible applicants shall be (1) professors in universities whose teaching and research areas are related to Cloud Computing, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web services, Web technology, Software Engineering, IT, and management or (2) industry practitioners who have experiences in services software design and development and are willing to get more involved in Services Computing community. 5. PhD Symposium:
The Ph.D. Symposium is organized to bring together Ph.D. students and graduates working on topics related to the various aspects of SERVICES 2018 conference topic areas. The goal of the symposium is to offer Ph.D. students and graduates the opportunity to summarize, present, discuss, and receive feedback on their research in a constructive manner. 6. Services Cup:
Services Cup 2018 will again bring together worldwide talented students (Students Group) and industry practitioners (Professionals Group) for the industrial wave. Focused terms for 2018 are: Cloud Computing, Big Data, Web Services, and Mobile Services. The finalists and final top winners of the contest will be announced in April 2018. 7. Global Cloud Industry Summit:
This Global Cloud industry summit is intended to bridge the gap between Cloud Computing and Business models that are supported by them, with an emerging suite of ground-breaking technologies that includes cloud computing, SOA, business process modeling, integration and management, grid/utility/autonomic computing, enterprise service bus and Web 2.0. 8. Innovation Show Case:
Exhibiting companies and research institutions will provide products, prototypes, First-Of-The-Kind demos, and services offerings in all aspects of Services Computing. 9. Job Fair:
All the services provided to job seekers and employers are FREE at this time point.
