The Minnesota Information Security Conference is excited to announce it's Second MISC.conf event.
WHO WE ARE:
The Minnesota Information Security Community understands that the success of security is cross-disciplinary and relies on skills and knowledge from multiple domains of knowledge. The Minnesota Information Security Community is a local group with nationwide contacts in all areas of information security and skill levels from entry ­level to Vice Presidents and CEOs of major Security firms.
WHAT WE ARE:
MISC.conf is a conference that strives to provide a wide variety of content for all levels of expertise.
TOPICS AND PAPER GUIDELINES:
We are looking for a mix of papers and presentations. We want to have something for everyone, so we will be looking at and considering everything from 101 level introductory material for those entering the field, up to cutting edge deeply technical topics.
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, relevance, and applicability to the audience. Papers/presentations that have been previously presented should be identified as such, preference will be given to new or significantly (50%+) updated works.
Submitted papers will be reviewed by a minimum of 3 reviewers.

Papers inappropriate for MISC.conf will not be sent for review, notification will immediately be made in these cases.

misc.conf is a conference for individuals interested in computers, information security, tinkering and other miscellany and is hosted by Minnesota Information Security Community, LLC.
