Cloud Computing is ranked as one of the most impacting technologies in present times. It offers companies, systems and developers virtualized and unlimited resources such as CPU, Memory, Storage, and others. It represents a great change in how companies organize their budget, allowing then to save money otherwise spent in built and maintain in-house data centers.
If that were the only gain in the adoption of Cloud Computing technologies, it would be already a tremendous saving in costs, but Cloud solutions can provide users with furthermore services and options The Workshop on Cloud Computing Economic Impacts seeks to provide an area for the presentation and discussion of works related with the economical aspect of cloud computing.
The main objective of the workshop if to promote the exchange of researches and ideas in areas that analysis and explore economic impact of cloud computing to companies solutions and services.
The areas to be covered by this workshop includes economic aspects related to cloud computing such as, but not limited to, cost and pricing, adoption and cloud computing impacts on business economy, business model, economic models and impacts.
Submission Guidelines
All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:
A full paper should not exceed 12 pages in LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science) format. http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0
A short paper, mainly addressing the work-in-progress, should not exceed 6 pages still in LNCS
