CFP: Cultural Itineraries: Research and Innovation
This session wishes to address how the articulation of historical, literary, and artistic itineraries can extend the potential of cultural tourism from a multidisciplinary perspective. Literary pilgrimages and cultural itineraries can enhance the tourist attractiveness of a territory, foster community development, and link together creative enterprises, academia, and traditions.
Possible topics of interest may include, but are not limited to: the connections between culture, territory, and tourism; the past and the future of cultural tourism; place branding; rediscovering or shaping the cultural identity of a territory.
