Ikhtilaf Journal of Critical Humanities and Social Studies Issue # 6
The editorial board of Ikhtilaf Journal of Critical Humanities and Social Studies invites scholarly contributions for its forthcoming issue on “Digital Capitalism and the New World Dis/Order.” As digital technologies continue to transform economies, politics, and social relations on a global scale, this issue seeks to critically engage with the ways in which digital capitalism structures contemporary forms of power, inequality, and resistance.
We welcome original research articles, theoretical essays, and critical reviews that explore themes including, but not limited to:
- The political economy of digital platforms and algorithmic governance
- Digital labor, automation, and the transformation of work
- Surveillance capitalism and data colonialism
- The geopolitics of digital infrastructures and techno-sovereignty
- Algorithmic bias, AI ethics, and digital exclusion
- Cryptocurrency, fintech, and the reconfiguration of global capital
- Resistance, activism, and digital counter-publics
- The role of digital capitalism in shaping post-pandemic economies
We encourage interdisciplinary perspectives drawing from critical theory, political economy, media studies, cultural studies, sociology, philosophy, and related fields.
