This edited collection aims to explore the intricate interplay between literature and cultural studies, particularly in their implications for our comprehension of future trajectories.

In an era marked by rapid globalization, technological advancements, and fluid socio-political landscapes, the scholarly examination of literature and culture assumes heightened significance. Our objective with this publication is to curate scholarly chapters that critically interrogate the intersections of literature, culture, and society, elucidating their roles in shaping prospective narratives.

We welcome esteemed scholars, researchers, and practitioners within the realms of literature and cultural studies to contribute original chapters addressing a spectrum of themes, including, yet not limited to:

  • Literature and Cultural Identity: In-depth inquiries into how literature mirrors and constructs cultural identities, with implications for forthcoming cultural contours.

  • Cultural Visions of the Future: Rigorous analyses of literary depictions and interpretations of future prospects, trends, and possibilities, discerned through cultural lenses.

  • Literature and Socio-Political Dynamics: Scholarly explorations into literature's responsive and influential stance vis-à-vis socio-political upheavals, engendering visions of future societal configurations.

  • Cultural Implications of Technological Progress: Deliberations on the cultural ramifications of technological strides, as depicted in literature, and their envisaged impact on future societal frameworks.

  • Narratives of Environmental Concern: Interrogations of literary representations of environmental exigencies and climate change narratives, and their ramifications for envisaging sustainable futures.

  • Globalization and Cultural Exchange: Scholarly inquiries into the mediation of globalization processes through literature and cultural artifacts, fostering cross-cultural comprehension and shaping future global interactions.

  • Contributors are encouraged to employ rigorous theoretical frameworks and methodological approaches inherent to the disciplines of literature and cultural studies. Both theoretical expositions and empirical inquiries that contribute to a nuanced understanding of the intricate nexus between literature, culture, and society are welcomed.
